About Carolyn
My Background
I have been a spiritual seeker from the time I was a small child, growing up in Canada's Arctic. Having been born to a strong, wounded Ojibway mother and an emotionally bereft Kenyan father, both of whom, struggled with alcoholism, I was left to find my own way in the world.
Although I was able to get myself to University and build a career in the corporate world, I found myself becoming overwhelmed by addiction and more than once in my life, I have lost everything material, emotional and even spiritual in my life.
From the depths of despair and destitution, I know we can heal and find our true selves again. A meaningful and rewarding life is possible when we have help and hope.
My Perspective
We are spiritual beings having a physical experience.
There is a creator of the universe that is greater than my own mind.
The mysteries of our lives can be understood through
connection with our souls.
We can't always solve our problems from the mindset
that created the problems.
You are a valuable child of the universe,
in whom God is well pleased.
Everything we do makes sense to some part of us,
even if we don't understand why.
You have an inner power and knowing that can be accessed, even if it's been a long time or been obscured by pain and doubt.
It's not your fault, but it's still your responsibility to heal.
My Training
I have been certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists, and trained in Past Life Soul Regression and Between Lives Soul Regression with Linda Backman at the Raven Heart Institute in Colorado. As well, I trained in Rapid Transformational Therapy with Marisa Peer, and Quantum Healing Hypnosis with Dolores Cannon.
Other spiritual certifications include Healing through the Akashic Records with Linda Howe, Core Transformation with Andreas NLP, Tolpakan Healing with Dr. Karen Kan. Most recently, I've studied Woman-Centred Coaching and Feminine Power with Claire Zammit.
Finally, I am a student of psychology at the University of Calgary.
